Brow Care for Microblading

PRE-CARE

WHAT TO AVOID BEFORE APPOINTMENT

  • Waxing, threading & tweezing (2 weeks prior to appointment)(The more hair...the more freedom I have to create your desired brow shape)

  • Tanning (2 weeks prior to appointment)

  • Botox/Fillers (4 weeks prior to appointment)

  • Discontinue retinoids (2 weeks prior to appointment)

  • Chemical peels, lasers, microdermabrasion (4 weeks prior to appointment)

  • Aspirin, Vitamin E, Fish oil (It thins the blood, please consult with MD if taking regularly)

AFTER-CARE

TO YIELD OPTIMAL RESULTS:

DO'S:

  • Always wash hands before touching brow area

  • Wash 1-2 times a day with lukewarm water and antibacterial soap(Dial soap) (NO BAR SOAPS) (for 14 days)

  • Gently pat dry with cotton round or napkin

  • Apply rice grain amount of coconut oil across the entire brow twice daily with a q-tip (for 14 days) (too much product can suffocate the brows compromising the healing process)

  • BE GENTLE

DONT'S:

  • DO NOT get brows wet beyond the washing times (for 7 days)

  • Avoid steamy showers (for 7 days)

  • Avoid excessive sweating (workouts) (for 7 days)

  • No aspirin or Vitamin E immediately after your service 

  • No makeup or face products on or around the brow area (for 14 days)

  • No picking or scratching the area

  • No direct sun for 14 days. If unavoidable, please wear SPF or a hat. PROTECT THAT BEAUTIFUL SKIN & YOUR NEW BROWS (direct sunlight can fade pigment)

WHAT TO EXPECT

DISCLAIMER:

Infections are rare but possible. Signs of infection may include: Prolonged and sever pain, fever, bright red surrounding area, swelling in the immediate area with radiating warm sensations, Thick white or yellow fluid filled sores. 

Seek immediate medical attention if you think you have an infection.
